No Vacation This Year?
I know I said I wouldn’t write about this subject but I think it’s important to understand it better first before putting it to rest, so please bear with me. I’d like to get some of your opinions.
Do you think…?
a) I should take a 1-week vacation this year
b) I should take two 1-week vacations this year, one without my family
c) Vacations are self-indulgent extravagancies only to be taken when they’ve been earned through particular hardship and should not be an annual activity even if you can afford it

Well, since I’ve never been one to manage vacations as a single parent on low-income, I never made it a priority. I tend to go with number ‘3′, but since it indicates “even if you can afford it”, it doesn’t suit my choices. I’ve always believed that living necessaties were of utmost importance, and therefore moving to better quarters, and seeing to my childrens’ needs were always first & foremost. So, my vote on this really doesn’t have a selection, but maybe that sheds some light in a different aspect.
