Vegas Day 1
So we arrived in Vegas without much trouble, I only got 4 hours sleep last night so I passed out for about half an hour on the second flight. One really messed up thing on the first flight was a baby that was sucking on an unwrapped package of cigarettes. So wrong.
We had a choice of cars between a Mazda and a Pontiac G6 - I wanted the Pontiac because it looked like Jazz but Jon wanted a Mazda because he’s never driven one before and since he was the driver we let him choose. It’s not the most roomy thing in the world and doesn’t have an iPod port for music but it’s pretty nice otherwise, our luggage fit no problem.
We went to Roxy’s for dinner, the performances weren’t anywhere near as good as last time when I came with Mindi in 2006 but Jon and Josh were suitably impressed.
Then we drove around the strip and downtown at night - Jon agreed with my assessment of downtown as kinda shady.
Back at the hotel I started to feel like crap so the guys went drinking as I went to get some vitamin water and Nyquil - may my flu die sometime in the next 8 hours or so. I also went on Jon’s laptop to upload some pictures to myspace.
