I Am A Big Freaking Idiot, Vegas-Style
So I’m searching for Cheesecake Factory and Krispy Kreme in Las Vegas and discover quite by accident that I was an idiot in 2006.
It turns out there’s a Cheesecake Factory in Caesar’s Palace although in my defense they list it as a shop, not a restaurant.
Now Krispy Kreme on the other hand, I have almost no excuse for. There is one in Circus Circus and Excalibur. Now granted the Freemont one is apparently technically closer to the Stratosphere than they are but that’s not much of an excuse.
To add insult to injury, it turns out there’s a Jack-In-The-Box 1 km away from the Stratosphere. Seriously, if our room had been on a different side of building I probably would have seen it from our room.
So I dropped the ball…hard…on my foot.
Maybe all four are new since then?
Doubt it.
Although thinking back, with the exception of Election Night we never really had bad food per se. Yes they would have been nice additions but we got pretty stuffed at Quark’s, Wolfgang Puck’s, and the Hard Rock that we weren’t suffering from a lack of good options; but with the unfortunate and incredibly unfair demise of Quark’s though this trip could be a bit different.
It’s likely to have higher sugar content though.

There is another Krispy Kreme you need to add to the list: The one inside Fitzgerald’s Casino. Why am I sending you Downtown for this one? Two words: Free WiFi.
