Giving Thanks
So every year my partner’s sister gets everyone at the Thanksgiving Day dinner table say what they’re thankful for. The first year I thought it was an anomaly, the second year it caught me off guard again but not this year. This year I had a plan. So when the appointed time came my answer was ready:
“I’m thankful for democracy because it periodically makes me a little money and puts on a hell of a show“
