Round Here
Night before last as I was getting ready for bed I suddenly got Round Here by Counting Crows stuck in my head.
7 hours later when I awoke it was still there.
I was singing it in the shower.
I didn’t get a seat on the bus to work so instead of watching Doctor Who I listened to all my Counting Crows songs. Gotta love the PDA and 8 gb SDHC card that puts all these options at my fingertips - there’s nothing like realizing a whim, it’s great. It shows you know exactly what you want and have the power to make it happen, even if it is just a few songs.
So it turns out Counting Crows is a great way to start your day.
That night I spent some time cleaning up the ID tags as, much like the Fairweather Johnson tracks, they were a mess. I had been a little disappointed with my limited selection of Counting Crows songs that morning, only having 6 on mp3 so I also ripped the rest of August And Everything After.
As I put the CD away and got ready for bed I suddenly got Disco 2000 by Pulp stuck in my head.
Here we go again.
