So my West Virginia disappointment didn’t last long, Edwards endorsed Obama yesterday. According to some sources if Edwards’ delegates follow his lead Obama only needs 25 more delegates to win this thing. It will be nice when this is over, instead of rampant speculation over when Obama will win we can move on to rampant running mate speculation.
I hear that Webb said he wouldn’t do it so with Edwards also out I think that makes Richardson a very strong possibility. Although I can’t help but wonder if Edwards could pursue his anti-poverty initiative from the Vice President’s office. Listening to his endorsement speech I think he’d make a strong candidate in 2016.
