Review: Travelodge Everett Mall

Not the best Travelodge I’ve stayed at but not as bad as some reviews make it out to be either.

It was clean but the bathroom had a strong odor when we arrived, perhaps an industrial strength cleaning product. The shower had good water pressure but the toilet wouldn’t flush even the smallest amount of toilet paper.

There were burn marks in the quilt in our non-smoking room.

The room was poorly stocked with only 1 towel, one floor-mat for the bathroom, and 2 facecloths - this was the worst-stocked place I’ve ever stayed at particularly when you consider our reservation was for 2 adults and one infant. Are 3 people really supposed to share a single towel? My partner went to the front to get extra towels and was informed that we could only get a limited number of extra towels, one per adult.

The front desk staff were casually dressed and not very professional but they were efficient and we had no problems.

The remote for the TV would only work at a very specific angle but channel selection was decent.

The name is a bit of a misnomer as while it is close to the mall it’s on the other side of the highway and therefore not that accessible.

Overall it was alright for a single night but I don’t think I’ll be back.
