In Bruges Review

This movie goes through stages: first you laugh, then you want to tour Europe, then you want to go home and hug your son. The dialogue is witty and organic, the pacing good, the performances interesting and engaging. The ending is both contrived and predictable but nevertheless works. Overall the movie’s juxtaposition of humour and dark issues comes off as a reaffirmation of life and an inspiration of nobility.

Then again I caught the late showing so I could just be talking out my ass.
