Bias

Ah, bias; easy to call, difficult to prove. It’s like calling someone a witch in Puritan Salem…or playing the race card in contemporary society. I’ve been guilty of calling bias without all the facts myself I’ll admit, and I’ve had the finger pointed at me - both rightly and wrongly.

I know I’ve accused the CNN website of favouring Hillary on more than one occasion in this very venue while others accuse the media at large of loving Obama. But I think I’ve stumbled upon some selective reporting that’s hard to deny.

A superdelegate in New Jersey switched from Clinton to Obama. It’s unprecedented in this campaign and the only website I could find reporting on it was The Huffington Post. CNN didn’t update their delegate count to reflect the change. In fact they had a couple articles asking if Hillary’s support was waning and didn’t bother to mention it. This could very well be the tipping point and neither CNN nor MSNBC are writing about it.

Well I guess that leaves me.
