Perjury
I’ve argued for years that Rice needed to have perjury charges brought against her for lying under oath regarding the infamous memo but I seemed to be the only one despite her clearly reversing herself within minutes.
But perhaps someone in the Bush administration will be held accountable for this lying double-talk behaviour. It seems that perjury charges against Gonzales may just be inevitable. Bush will probably intervene at some point to make sure he isn’t, you know, ACTUALLY held accountable but one more dishonest incompetent proven to be within Bush ranks can only serve to further hurt the Republican party, making John McCain the only one with a chance of saving it, not that it deserves to be saved.
