Idiots!
So I’m looking after my son tonight as my girlfriend goes out with her mom.
12 minutes after she leaves he starts crying.
2 hours later he finally settles down and goes to sleep when someone phones my work cell, the battery dies as it’s ringing so I don’t see who I need to kill because sure enough the baby’s awake and angry - he got about 3 minutes sleep.
I spend about half an hour calming him down and he finally goes to sleep again. 10 minutes later my neighbour smashes a ladder in the bedroom window doing no damage but waking the now thrice pissed off baby. I would run outside and beat him to death with the ladder but I have a baby to look after.
Half an hour of crying later, mommy came home.

Time Spent Sleeping: 13 minutes.
Time Spent Calm: 12 minutes.

and I was thinking about phoning tonight too. Glad I reconsidered. This is one of the funniest blogs to read as a parent. Every parent has had that day. I makes you want to grab them and say, “was that worth your life?”
It’ll get better soon, trust me.
And if there’s any further problems with people…well you know a guy who knows a guy, no names…..

I always thought you put your phone on vibrate when babe was sleeping, hmmmm? Oh well, be sure this isn’t the way it would be every time you look after him, don’t you think the worst time might have been due to colic? I know for you, that movement was the only thing that calmed you, plus the gripewater. Babe was probably more startled from the disturbances, rather than pissed-off. It just seems inevitable that babes will be disturbed by shocking sounds, and when colic is an issue, it makes it even tougher.
