A little time on my hands and an Internet connection is all it takes to give birth to great plans.
7 days in Orlando for less than $575 Canadian. Less than $85 a day for flight and accommodations. Both Universal Studios theme parks AND the water park all within walking distance. Free shuttles to Disney World and Sea World.
Who wouldn’t be interested in that?
Besides the mentally ill and the poor I mean.
Jon could bring Max for less that $1,200 - that’s less than 15% of his anticipated severance package. Mindi could go for a similar percentage of her savings. My portion would cost less than 6% of my liquid assets, less than 2% of my net worth - I’ll make more in interest this year!
So, from that point of view, it’s almost free.
Now granted I’m not including expenses so these figures don’t tell the whole story. In Vegas for example my expenses seemed to average $100 USD a day but I was mostly paying for two and many things we did like The Experience, Second City, and Wolfgang Puck’s weren’t cheap. And then there was the buffet, I do love a good buffet…but I digress.
Although I do have my secret stash of US cash so that shan’t be much of an issue for me at least.
Everyone pays their own way this trip though.
Oh, and we’d leave the day before my birthday. And Universal has night clubs.
