My girlfriend was suffering from a migraine last night while my son discovered the unparalleled joys of projectile vomiting so I was forced to cancel my golf plans with Jon to stay home with them until my mother was able to come over and look after them both. Since that did not occur until late in the day we decided to go see a movie instead. Jon wanted to see some independent film but I vetoed that and lobbied for Next instead.
It was a good film, I definitely recommend it. The ending was somewhat unfufilling but very original. I really hope they make a sequel but given that it came out against Spider-man 3, which I have yet to see, it’s box office performance is likely to suffer. It had a good story that could have moved a little faster but was still very engaging. The special effects were nice but not in any way cumbersome or overdone.
