Look Upon My Works Ye Mighty And Despair
Since just shortly before Encounters came out I’ve been a member of the official message board for the 3 new games. Mid-December after attaining the rank of Commander (what? like it’s news I’m a nerd?) I was offered a position as a moderator which I happily accepted. Now a month later the administration of the site requested my contact information to send along a token of appreciation.
They asked if I would prefer a copy of Tactical Assault or Legacy and on which platform. Figures, right? I already have both games and only one platform for each anyways. Having purchased Legacy by direct download (totally works!) I figured I’d go for a hard copy of that for backup and potential compatibility issues with future patches. They tell me it’s a “special” copy.
Now I know a lot of content and features were cut from the game so I’m thinking maybe this copy will have them. Unlikely so I didn’t get my hopes up but it would’ve been cool.
Today another mod spilled the beans.
