Out Of Touch
In the past week 2 people have both commented on how they felt “out of touch” with me. Now at this time of year statements such as these are neither rare nor surprising but nevertheless I think they’re worth investigating.
Any guesses as to who made these comments?
The first is probably the least surprising of the two: My ex. She took complete responsibility for letting it happen which for this time of year is a nice change of pace. Admittedly I can’t help but wonder if this comment was blog inspired. But more than that, does it matter?
The other complainant was Simi, my surrogate mom from Sears. Further earning the title of surrogate mom she’d been calling and leaving messages about why I haven’t been over for dinner and comp passes. She was very understanding when after a few days of not returning her calls I ran into her at the parade.
